I collect antique motor scooters.  Most of them are Cushmans built in Lincoln, Nebraska between 1936 and 1965.  Cushmans were widely used by the military during World War II.  They were often used as a "second car," and were very popular with teenagers.

They are less practical now because traffic moves faster, and many Cushmans are not equipt with turn signals, or front wheel brakes.  Collectors are seeking out Cushmans to restore.  I belong to two Cushman Clubs.  The national club is the Cushman Club of America.  www.cushmanclubofamerica.com
