MISS ALASKA 2006—Rebecca Hayes’ commitment to the American Lung Association is personal: Her best friend died from an asthma attack. She since has educated countless children across the state about lung disease. The Anchorage native is a graduate student at the University of Alaska and a partner in a technology firm.
