Description

Considered security threats at the outbreak of World War II, some 120,000 innocent, law-abiding Japanese-American men, women and children were uprooted from their homes and placed under guard in long-term "relocation" camps. Spinning its story from this infamous civil rights violation, American Pastime dramatizes two groups on opposite sides of this cultural divide and how they were brought together by fate, a forbidden romance and the "all-American" sport of baseball.
