This photo is of a new foot bridge that crosses the Missouri River and connects the cities of Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs, IA and reported to be the only foot bridge in the United States that crosses a river between two states.

 It was completed just a few months ago and it is for foot traffic and bicycle traffic but no motorized vehicles are allowed.  It has been a great success, connection walking and bicycle trails on both sides of the river.  However, now with winter set in it will be used less but it has been a bit hit with those who have walked and biked across the Missouri River
