Hamburger Pie (TX) Recipe

Ingredients
4 medium potatoes, boiled until tender and peeled
1/4 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 pound ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (15-ounce) can green beans, drained

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Whip potatoes with margarine, salt and pepper. Set aside. Brown meat with onion. Drain excess grease. Stir in tomato soup and beans. Spoon into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish. Spoon potatoes on top. Bake for 35 minutes, or until top is lightly browned. Serves 6 to 8.
