RAISINS CREAM PIE Recipe

IT WAS A RECIPE THAT WHEN MY MOTHER DIED WE WERE ALL LOOKING THROW HER COOK BOOKS. OUT CAME THIS PAPER ALL FOLDED. I OPENED IT AND IT WAS THIS RECIPE. SHE HAD MADE THIS RECIPE MANY TIMES BUT NEVER GAVE IT TO NO ONE. EVERYONE WOULD GO ON AN ON ABOUT HOW GOOD IT WAS. I HATED FINDING THE RECIPE LIKEN THIS BUT EVERYTIME I MAKE IT FOR MY FAMILY ITS LIKE MY MOTHER IS IN THE KITCHEN WITH.

Ingredients
1cup raisins
1/2 cups water
1 cup of cream
3/4 cup sugar
3 egg yolks (beaten)
2 to 3 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
SIMMER THE RAISINS AND WATER FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND LET COOL. ADD OTHER INGREDIENTS. MIX UNTIL SMOOTH. COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL THICK. POUR INTO BAKED PIE SHELL. TOP WITH MERINGUE AND PLACE IN OVEN UNTIL TOP IS BROWNED
