Buttermilk Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients
1 quart buttermilk
1 cup sugar
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
Combine the buttermilk, sugar, evaporated milk, and vanilla in a bowl. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Pour into an ice cream freezer, and freeze according to the manufacturer’s directions.

This lower-fat frozen treat tastes much like frozen vanilla yogurt. It’s a nice alternative to ice cream when you’re watching calories.
