Sweet-and-Sour Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients
Meatloaf:
1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons minced onions
1/2 cup uncooked quick oats
2/3 cup milk
Sauce:
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons vinegar
4 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons minced onion
6 tablespoons water
Instructions
1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons minced onions
1/2 cup uncooked quick oats
2/3 cup milk
Sauce:
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons vinegar
4 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons minced onion
6 tablespoons water
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, minced onions, oats, and milk. Place the meat mixture in a loaf pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
For the sauce, combine the ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, and water. Pour over the meatloaf after it has cooked for 20 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 375 degrees, and bake the loaf for an additional 40 minutes.
Yield: 4 to 6 servings

This tasty small meatloaf is great with mashed potatoes and steamed green beans.
For the sauce, combine the ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, and water. Pour over the meatloaf after it has cooked for 20 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 375 degrees, and bake the loaf for an additional 40 minutes.
