Ingredients
5 Roma tomatoes, quartered
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh basil
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
Place the tomatoes in a bowl, and toss them well with the garlic, vinegar, oil, basil, salt, and pepper. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Yield: 4 servings

Tips From Our Test Kitchen:
This quick salad is best when the tomatoes are at their peak ripeness. Two cups of halved grape tomatoes can substitute when larger ripe tomatoes aren’t available.
