The groundbreaking 1984 comedy "mockumentary" celebrates its 25th anniversary with a new Blu-ray edition loaded with extras, including an hour of deleted scenes, commentary by the characters, Spinal Tap music videos and other hilarious extras about moviedom's most famous fictitious heavy-metal band. A perfect skewer of rock 'n' roll pretentiousness, outlandishness and outright cluelessness, director Rob Reiner's lampoonish classic is as funny as ever—and the laughs, like the amplifiers, still "go to 11."

From George Washington's foxhounds to Barrack Obama's Portuguese water dog, Bo, this fact-filled, "unleashed" look at presidential history also features drawings and paintings from early America and photos beginning with the first-ever of an Oval Office pooch, a glass-plate image of Abe Lincoln's yellow mongrel, Fido.

DVD ($32.99)
Isla Fisher stars in this lighthearted Disney romantic romp as an out-of-control spender who takes a job writing a magazine column—on living frugally, ironically—to help pay off her mounting credit-card debt. Will her secret shopping life, and the bill collector, catch up with her before she can clean up her act and win the heart of her hunky boss (Hugh Dancy)? A strong supporting cast, including John Goodman, John Lithgow, Lynn Redgrave and "Saturday Night Live"'s Fred Armisen, add to the chuckles. Extras include bloopers and deleted scenes.

Actor Patrick Stewart narrates this fascinating, first-rate documentary series—airing originally on PBS back in the '90s, now available on DVD—on the history of mapmaking, which began with crude clay tablets and progressed to modern-day satellite technologies. As it demonstrates over the course of its six episodes, maps have historically served as symbols of wealth and power, tools of exploration and conquest and instruments for saving lives. Both educational and entertaining, "The Shape of the World" will guarantee that you'll never look the same way at any map again.
