Hi my name is Heather and I am also a disabled young adult. How are you? Things are quite busy here! I just read your article on "AmericanProfile and it is so awsome what you can do for not only yourselves but the benefit of others as well! You are very inpireing and so much so, in fact that I have concidered tring to find someone to tell my story. I am 28 years old and have been through pretty much the same things as Rick has, exept the only difference is that I don't have cerebral palsy. My parents were told the exact same as you were about Rick too. and like you my parents didn't give up on me. I love them Very much and don't know what i'd do without them and my older brother, who has been there for me through it all I love him too! I am racking my brain tring to think of how I can help tell people about us Families with disabilities how life can really be good, and all that but don't know where to start, maybe you could give me an idea?
