Article: Andy Griffith

This a very nice article. I thoughhly enjoyed reading it. I have followed Andy's career since the early sixties and in my opinion there is not finer actor anywhere. He represents everything I beleive in and I consider it a prevlige to have been able to have enjoyed his talent. It abounds in everything he has done whether it's comedy, music, or his oscar worthy performance in " Face In a Crowd ". Thank you for the article on such a generous and talented man.

Along with Andy's good friend, Jim Nabors, they just do not "make 'em likehttp://www.aa.com/aa/travelInformation/gatesTimesSubmit.dothis anymore," and we are all the sadder for it. Such great guys. No one used the word "perfect," none of is perfect, no one should expect that. But when you say "nice guy," Andy and Jim can both take a bow and know that we all think of them in that light.

Enjoyed the article about Andy Griffith by Beverley Keel . Sometimes parents can be to hard on themselves regarding what happens with their children when they grow up-and it's not just nurture it's nature and nurture-Andy Griffith blames himself for the problems his son had but there are lots of reasons why children have difficulties as they become adults-I have 4 cousins-2 alcoholics -2 don't drink at all-and children that are adopted can have fetal alcohol syndrome the same as any other child but the adoptive parent is not aware of it. As the saying goes-the lord works in mysterious ways- Andy Griffith was given the blessing to become a role model for thousands or millions of fathers! maybe because the lord knew it was beyond his control to be a role model for the son he adopted.

This is what I would say to Andy Griffith if I had the opportunity. How wonderful to now have the Andy Griffith show in Bible classes.
