American Profile has learned that Marty Roenigk, who is featured in this story, died in an automobile accident near Griswold, Iowa, June 18. We extend our condolences to his wife Elise, who was injured in the accident, and their family.

I can't explain how startled I was to see this article on Saturday morning after learning of Marty & Elise's accident. They refurbished a perhaps haunted landmark - it was a very surreal/haunting moment for me to see them that morning.
