In Center, Texas we also celebrate the chicken with the East Texas Poultry Festival. We are the official Poultry Festival of Texas. Our Chicken Clucking contest is a highlight of the 3 day festival that begins the first Thursday of October. I enjoyed reading about the Wayne Chicken Festival. We have a lot in common!
