The above article was very fine and interesting. However, I suspect that the good town of Goodland, Kansas has copied a town in Altona, Manitoba, Canada. Altona has had a huge reproduction of van Gogh's famous sunflower painting on an equally huge easel for a number of years. Might the Canadian artist, Cameron Cross, also be the one who did the reproduction in Altona? Is that where Goodland, Kansas came up with the idea? I live about an hour from Altona, Manitoba, and would just appreciate that they would have been mentioned.
