Great Story! I've been a fan of Billy Ray's, ever since, his "Achey Breaky Heart" hit! My 9 1/2 yr old grandson, is a big fan of "Hannah Montana". We have much to talk about and share, when we talk on the phone or get together. Since he knows 'Grandma' adores Billy Ray, he sends me letters, with pictures of Billy Ray, and/or Miley (from Disney Magazines, etc)attached.
Oh, by the way, I'm a fan of "American Profile"! I look forward to it every week! Thanks.

Thanks to Mr. Jimmy Gentry, for sharing his WWII story. It's a 'keeper"...for my scrapbook.
My husband and I were in elementary school, during WWII. We both had uncles, who served in U.S. Army. We're thankful for these special people in our lives, the patriotism and respect for the U.S. Troops. We have much for which to be thankful. A special thanks to Mr. Gentry and all the World War II veterans and their families, for all they did to make America such a great country.
We extend our graditude for him sharing this story. God bless him, his family and friends.
God bless the U.S.A., all the Veterans and their families of yesteryear and all of our troops and families today.
