Enjoyed the article about Andy Griffith by Beverley Keel . Sometimes parents can be to hard on themselves regarding what happens with their children when they grow up-and it's not just nurture it's nature and nurture-Andy Griffith blames himself for the problems his son had but there are lots of reasons why children have difficulties as they become adults-I have 4 cousins-2 alcoholics -2 don't drink at all-and children that are adopted can have fetal alcohol syndrome the same as any other child but the adoptive parent is not aware of it. As the saying goes-the lord works in mysterious ways- Andy Griffith was given the blessing to become a role model for thousands or millions of fathers! maybe because the lord knew it was beyond his control to be a role model for the son he adopted. This is what I would say to Andy Griffith if I had the opportunity. How wonderful to now have the Andy Griffith show in Bible classes.
