Is there anyone in the central texas area that can help me with my horse. She is 4 yrs old and had never been around humans until I got her. She was tamed by be but due to physical limitations I felt like she needed a professional trainer.I paid Lewis Curry , who was supposed to be a top notch trainer, 1400.00 for 6 weeks of training. He actually stole her 3 weeks ago and held her for more money and refused to let me see her until he got an additional 500. He dropped her off at my place 2 hrs later when no one was around and she had been starved and had a huge sore on her back which had been untreated. I called the law but no one seems to be able to do anything about it. The problem is I am nursing her back to health but she is more skittish now than ever and I need some advise on how to undo the damage this blankety blank sob did to her. She has a very gentle spirit and has never tried to hurt anyone and for a few days I thought he had actually broken her spirit but she is slowly coming around. She is for my two little granddaughters and would have been a good ride but now I don't know if I can undo the damage that was done to her.
