Excellent, and insightful, article.
However, the Largest Private Elvis Presley Collection belongs to (Elvis Presley Expert, Elvis Presley Author, Elvis Presley Artist, etc.)an American named Mr. Jeff Schrembs.
One of the interesting things about Mr. Jeff Schrembs is that his collection numbers in excess of 100,000 items many of which were obtained directly through his relationship with Colonel Tom Parker.
Fortunatley, Mr. Jeff Schrembs has (recently) allowed some of his (private) collection to be shown publicly including copies of some of his photos available via EBay (with all proceeds going to worthy causes).
Elvis Presley remains in the "public eye" not only for what he achieved onstage...but off.
No matter how many things Fans Worldwide "collect" the fact remains that no one will ever have "everything Elvis" but it sure is "fun"...trying.
To all Elvis Presley Fans Worldwide we say "thank you for being Elvis Fans".
