She's really singing, as are all the cast members in the movie, a fictional comedy-drama built around the long-running radio show. Her co-stars—and fellow singers—include Lily Tomlin, Meryl Streep and Woody Harrelson. Lohan, whose other movies include Freaky Friday, Herbie Fully Loaded and Mean Girls, actually has been singing since she was a tot and has released four CDs, including last year's A Little More Personal (Raw).

Sedgwick, who's been nominated for Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards for her role as Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson on TNT's hit series The Closer, also appeared in the short-lived 2003 TV series Queens Supreme. She's been in a host of movies, including Phenomenon, Born on the Fourth of July, Secondhand Lions and The Woodsman, in which she starred alongside her husband of 17 years, actor Kevin Bacon.
