Ann Jillian, David Krumholtz, John Corbett, Toby Keith

Whatever happened to the cute, petite blond actress Ann Jillian, who played on so many TV movies? I haven't seen her in anything recently.
—Wilma Chasteen, Auburn, Ky.

Now 56, the award-winning singer-actress is semi-retired and raising her son, Andrew, 13, in California. She's been a motivational speaker since 1985, when she lost both of her breasts to cancer just as her acting career was heating up. Fully recovered today, she performs with symphonies around the country and leads the singing at her church's mass. "I will never stop alerting women about early detection of breast cancer—this has become my life's work," she says. "I maintain my campaign to one day see breast cancer totally defeated." Jillian is married to her manager, Andy Murcia.

What can you tell me about actor David Krumholtz from the TV series Numb3rs?
—Barbara Franklin, Morganton, N.C.

New York native Krumholtz got his start in acting at age 13 when he played Judd Hirsch's son in Conversations With My Father on Broadway. His movies include Life with Mikey, The Mexican, 10 Things I Hate About You, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, The Santa Clause (in which he played the head elf) and Guess Who, starring Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac. Currently appearing in the TV series Numb3rs as mathematician Charlie Eppes, Krumholtz is single and lives in Los Angeles.

What can you tell me about John Corbett? I loved him on Northern Exposure.
—Jean Gables, Sunnyvale, Calif.

Raised in West Virginia, Corbett, 44, got into acting when a back injury sidelined him from his California factory job. TV commercials led to a starring role on Northern Exposure, which aired from 1990 to 1995, and numerous other TV and film parts, including a recurring role on HBO's Sex and the City and appearances in the movies My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Raising Helen. He's been working on a movie project, The Messengers, and recently turned his focus to music with the release of a self-titled, country-rock CD. "Acting has always been a lark. It's how I make my living. It's what I do so I don't have to have a real job," Corbett says. "Music has always been a passion. It's something I love, something I can't live without."

Toby Keith Gets Trash-y

Country superstar Toby Keith has always used his music to communicate directly and honestly with fans. His new CD, White Trash With Money, continues to reflect his personality. "It's an honest effort and I'm real proud of it," Keith says. The first hit single, "Get Drunk and Be Somebody," is an example of his dry humor, while "A Little Too Late" and "Crash Here Tonight" show more of his serious side. Keith wrote or co-wrote all 12 tracks, calling the end result a "laid back, fun, redneck, rockin' roadhouse" collection of songs.
