Slack in a picture-hanging wire sometimes makes it hard to figure exactly how high to place a nail. Here’s the solution: Put a brad through a paint stirring stick, hang your picture on the brad, hold it where you want it, then push in on the stick so the brad’s tip marks the wall where you should drive the nail.
