Q Michael E. Knight, who plays Tad on All My Children, is so funny and good-looking! Does he have any children in real life? He’s so great with his “kids” on the soap.

Knight, 49, was married to One Life to Live star Catherine Hickland from 1992 until 2006, at which time they announced they were divorcing. Knight said in an interview that his one regret was that they never had children. The All My Children star, who was born in Princeton, N.J., was raised in California with his two brothers.

Q I’d like to know the names of the women who played Lois Lane.
—Margo Wade, Sarah, Miss.

Noel Neill first embodied the role of Superman’s girlfriend in the late 1940s in Saturday movie serials, then in the 1950s TV series, after taking over for Phyllis Coates, the first “feature-length Lois” in the 1951 film Superman and the Mole Men. Patricia Marand played Lois on Broadway. Back on the big screen, Margot Kidder snuggled up to the Man of Steel in 1978, reprising the role in three movie sequels. Kate Bosworth portrayed Lois in the 2006 movie Superman Returns. Teri Hatcher found her breakthrough role as Superman’s sweetheart on TV’s Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in the 1990s, and Erica Durance brought the Superman-Lois love connection to a new generation on the hit CW series Smallville.

Q Is Juice Newton still working, and is that her real name?
—Gladys Massey, Fairfield, Calif.

These days, the “Angel of the Morning” and “Queen of Hearts” singer, 56, performs 80 to 90 days a year across North America and continues to record. She was given the name Judy at birth, but remembers being called Juice as a teenager. “It had nothing to do with orange juice or anything like that,” she says. “My family thought it was funny and it just stuck. Where I was raised in Virginia, there were lots of what they called ‘affectionate nicknames.’” Newton lives in San Diego with her husband and their two children.

Q I know several actors have played James Bond. But who’s played him the most?
—Mark Whitson, Corbin, Ky.

The suave British secret agent has been a staple of the movies since the 1960s. Sean Connery and Roger Moore each portrayed him in seven films, and are tied for the most Bond roles. In Moore’s just-released biography, My Word is My Bond, he reveals that he really wasn’t very much like agent 007, especially when it came to the action scenes. “I hate guns, explosions and running,” says Moore, 81. “It’s a wonder I ever got cast!”
