Q What’s next for Campbell Brown, now that she’s a new mom?
—Marilyn Boros, Boon, Mich.

Brown, 40, is back on the air at CNN after she and husband Dan Senor became parents to a baby boy, Eli James, on Dec. 18.

Q Someone told me that Kenny Rogers became the father of twins when he was in his 60s. True? If so…way to go, Kenny!
—Nedra Franks, Clarion, Pa.

Yes, the white-haired crooner, then 65, became a new dad to identical twin boys, Justin Charles and Jordan Edward, in July 2004. His wife, Wanda, also is an identical twin, and twins run in the Rogers family. The “Coward of the County” singer has three grown children from other marriages.

Q I’m trying to find a wonderful cartoon I watched in the 1960s or ’70s called Snowman in July. Can you tell me anything about it?
—Wanda Minten, Cumberland Gap, Tenn.

The charming cartoon you remember—about a snowman that comes to life but melts in the rising temperatures—originally was titled Der Schneemann (The Snowman) and produced in Nazi Germany in 1943 by Hans Fischerkoesen, a talented animator who made theatrical cartoon shorts during the wartime era. Some of his work was acquired, along with other European cartoons, for postwar television distribution in America. Redubbed into English and rereleased several times over the years, Der Schneemann became Snowman in July, The Magic Snowman or simply The Snowman.

Q Whatever happened to singer John Davidson? I really liked his TV show.
—W. Brooks, Billings, Mont.

Last summer, Davidson appeared on Broadway in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. These days, he performs in concert usually every other week, returning in between to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where he lives with his wife of 27 years, Rhonda. “I always have wanted to have an international experience and live outside of the U.S.,” says the actor, singer and former host of the TV game shows That’s Incredible!, Time Machine, Hollywood Squares and The $100,000 Pyramid. “When our youngest child went to college, we sold the empty nest.”

Q What can you tell me about the star of the TV show Miss Guided? She’s wonderful! Has she been in anything else?
—Jan Andine, Carson City, Nev.

You’re not the only one who thinks Judy Greer, the star of the ABC comedy sitcom about a high school guidance counselor, is terrific. But her efforts weren’t enough to keep the show afloat—it was canceled after only seven episodes. Born in Lavonia, Mich., Greer, 32, studied ballet before landing her first TV role in the late-’90s series Early Edition. She went on to appear in nearly 40 movies, including Three Kings, 13 Going on 30, The Village, 27 Dresses and Elizabethtown, and dozens of TV shows, among them Two and a Half Men, Arrested Development and My Name is Earl.
