24th Infantry Regiment's Forgotten Story

retired soldier, I had the distinguished honor of meeting CSM, USA (ret) Curtis Womack of the 24th Infantry Regiment. For those that do not know, were Buffalo Soldiers. In Korea, the 24th Infantry Division lost their colors.  The 24th Infantry regiment retreived those colors in combat.  No where it is mentioned in history that this accomplishment has taken place.  WHY is it that.  America owes a indefinite amount of respect & honor to those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.  PBS has done a marvelous job in the footages of the video series, The Bicycle Corps, Invisible Soldiers & the  Buffalo Soldiers. They also do a story about the 24th Infantry Regiment that served in Korea. He is still with us.  Thank You
