New Year's Eve

Four years ago I was widowed and that new year's eve I received an invitation to a co-workers home for a new year's eve party.  I decided to go and had a great time with other co-workers.  As I aged, my eyes developed cataracts making it difficult to drive at night.  This fall I suffered a viterous gel hemmorage which nicked a vein as it broke loose causing a large amount of blood to appear behind the retina.  Driving at night came to a halt as this latest occurence left me with blurry vision.  My friend Joanne Shannon knew I would not be able to come to the annual party so she called another guest and made arrangements for me to ride with her.  Joanne is a true friend!
