   No job is too big for  90  lb. Elsie  Krueger to tackle. Passing thirty-nine a few decades ago hasn't slowed   Elsie down a bit.   She  is  willing to do whatever it takes to help her neighbors   on our little  court. For  every holiday Elsie  climbs ladders to decorate her house.  Every day  Elsie takes    Muffin, another  neighbor's dog   for  at least one walk.  Muffin's owner, recovering  from injuries suffered in a fall, walks with them when she is able.   Another  neighbor, whose dogs  have numerous  maladies requiring  medication, is able to  get away once in a while to visit family out -of -state because Elsie is willing to  pet-sit, making sure   the dogs   are well cared for.  Another neighbor with Alzheimer's disease  can count on regular visits  from Elsie  that give her caretaker a break.  Elsie organizes  monthly coffees with the neighbors and    makes sure   to walk  her our  friend with Alzheimer's  to  the house where the gathering is held. We  have    potlucks  with our neighbors occsionally, organized by Elsie.  If Elsie sees someone outside raking leaves or doing other work, she pitches in. Anyone who needs a ride or help  knows who to call.  She recently took  a young mother who doesn't drive  and her sick child to the doctor. For such a little lady, our Elsie  does a lot to make life on our street happier for everyone.
