In Columbia City, Indiana on Christmas Day, in the Year 1974. I remenber going along with my Mother ( Callie Conrad ) to town. We lived out in the country ,and I was too young to have a driver's license. My Mom ( who was single at the time,and raising 5 kids ), had bought some groceries,out of her factory paycheck.
I helped my mother carry up 4 or 5 sacks of groceries, up a stairway to a rental apartment. to a family my Mom thought needed help. She NEVER told anyone else about this as far as I know, or asked for a pat on the back.She did it because she felt the Lord wanted her to.
To My Mother -Callie Conrad -The Greatest.
